2026 CHORD Forum: Inspired by Hope
The 2026 CHORD Forum was an incredible week, intentionally designed as a focused gathering for Academic Directors, Women’s Training Directors, School Directors, and other leaders involved in training the next generation of church leadership.
Inspired by Hope served as the theme for this year’s gathering. Participants and speakers revisited the journey that brought many into leadership, reflecting on the sacrifices and convictions that laid the foundation for today’s training ministries. Through Scripture and honest discussions, leaders were challenged to renew their vision, strengthen their leadership, and improve the way the next generation is trained and supported.
What is the CHORD Forum?
The CHORD Forum is an annual gathering hosted by CHORD, focused on developing the next generation of spiritual leaders worldwide. Since its inception in 2021, the Forum has served as a platform for collaboration, inspiration, and growth for teachers, trainers, and students involved in Schools of Missions across the globe. Each year, the Forum brings together participants from every inhabited continent, fostering an environment where pioneers of leadership development can share experiences, challenges, and opportunities.
The Forum's purpose is to inspire, equip, and connect those committed to the mission of building and training future leaders for service in God's kingdom. From exploring past victories to tackling pressing questions such as "What does the ideal School of Missions’ graduate look like?" and "What constitutes a perfect training program?", the Forum provides a unique opportunity for participants to collectively refine their approaches to leadership development.
Whether virtual or in-person, the Forum cultivates a spirit of unity and collaboration. Over the years, it has expanded its scope and impact, with a growing number of training programs and participants joining from across the globe. Each Forum emphasizes a specific theme, such as developing future leadership, partnerships in the gospel, or holistic spiritual leadership, shaping the direction of workshops, discussions, and classes.
By engaging directors, teachers, trainers, and students alike, the Forum plays a pivotal role in equipping the next generation of leaders to serve effectively, ensuring that the mission of global leadership development continues to thrive.
